Barcelona,
besides being the capital of Catalunya, is one of the main cities
of the Mediterranean, rooted deeply in history and culture, and at
the same time it is one of the most cosmopolitan and avant-garde cities.

tourist splendor and vibrancy, a city well preserved and cared for
down to the smallest of details, a cultural, social and gastronomic
paradise.

with the Pyrenean natural border separating it from France to the
north, and bordered by the Mediterranean sea to the east, and the
autonomous communities of Aragon and Valencia to the west and south.
